A couple of years ago I started athletics for fun and to keep fit, not expecting much of it, as time went on, I begun to love it and wanted to be the best I possibly could.

In 2022 I was lucky enough to qualify for the Australian Combined Event Nationals where I came third in the U16 heptathlon. I then proceeded to be selected for the Australian Little Athletics Championships where I came second in the heptathlon. At the end of 2022 I ran in Adelaide for the National All Schools and I am now Currently ranked sixth in the country for the 200m, sixth in my age group above 100m hurdles and seventh in the 100m. With that being held early at the start of my season I’m hoping to move up the rankings at the upcoming 2023 Australian Athletics Championships in Brisbane where I have qualified for the 100m (ranked third out of 2007’s), 200m, 100m hurdles ( ranked fourth), long jump and the heptathlon which I’m currently ranked number 1 for in U17s.

With the championships getting closer and closer flights and accommodation entry fees, uniform and spikes are all required; therefore, I am reaching out in the hope of securing some sponsorship to make this trip possible in April.
