My name is Jackson Gifford, I'm 19 years old and have been playing gridiron for 2 years now. I started playing back in 2022 with the Sydney Uni Cubs, but have been close to the club and sport ever since I was born. My father James Gifford had played with Sydney Uni for 15 years and had the opportunity to play for Australia multiple times. Now it is my time to show everyone that I am able to live up to the legacy that my father has left behind. It has been a lifelong dream to play at an international level and now that I have been gifted that chance it helps to create opportunities for a future of football.

In 2023 I started to take the sport a lot more serious and putting in more effort to be the best player that I could be. Fortunately for me I convinced my friends William Brine and Thomas Treharne to play their very first season of football. They have put in mass amounts of effort to become some of the best players in the country and will also join me in Canada.
