James is a talented 17-year-old racing driver with seven years of experience under his belt. James began his racing journey in 2017 in the cadet 12 category and demonstrated remarkable skill and potential throughout his career. In his fourth ever race, and still on his P Plates, James scored his first podium against other esteemed drivers in the cadet 12 class.

In 2021, James won the Metro Series Championship in KA3 Senior Light, and he's been a consistent front-runner, regularly finishing on the podium in the Hyundai Excel Series. In early 2023, he achieved his first win in the series, a testament to his hard work and dedication to the sport.

This year, he's set his sights on the championship racing with number one team, Ashley Seward Motorsport, and he has set his long-term goals even higher. He hopes to make his way into the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge next year, where he can test his skills against some of the best drivers in the world.

James has an impressive racing record, with noteworthy results such as his P5 finish at the 2019 Race of Stars, P14 finish at the World Series Karting in Italy in 2019 , P3 qualifying at the Australian Kart Championship in KA2 and P6 qualifying at the 2022 Australian Kart Championship in his first KZ2 shifter Kart class race. These achievements are a testament to his tenacity, skill, and drive.

In addition to James’ impressive achievements, it's important to note the level of competition he's faced in his journey to become an elite racing driver. For example, KZ2 is known as the hardest racing category in Australian karting, and it's unheard of for someone to be in the top 10 in their first race, as James was. Furthermore, James has raced against some of the world's best in the WSK Euro Series, which is known for attracting top-tier talent from across the globe. He has competed against future Formula One drivers, as well as current junior formula champions, such as Andrea Kimi Antonelli and James Wharton. These experiences have given James a unique advantage, allowing him to learn from the best and develop his own skills to match.

All of this is to say that James is not only a talented driver, but also a dedicated and passionate one. This passion is what drives him to constantly strive for improvement, set new goals, and exceed expectations.

James is hoping to begin his assault on the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia as a pathway to reach his goal as a professional GT driver. However, motorsport is not cheap, and to achieve this goal he needs as much support as possible. With your help, he can develop his racing skills, increase his exposure in the sport, and continue to climb the ranks of elite racing.
