Hello,
My name is James Willett, a dual Olympian Clay Target shooter. With a profound passion for this sport, I proudly competed in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. Currently residing with my wife, Amy, in the small town of Yarrawonga on the Murray River in Victoria, Australia, I am not only a shooter but also engaged in a part-time mature age carpentry apprenticeship with the local business, Kennedy Builders.
My aspiration is to qualify and represent Australia at my third Olympic Games in Paris 2024. I am actively seeking support to aid in covering travel and training costs for the upcoming domestic selection events in QLD, NSW, and VIC.
Your support will play a crucial role in my journey, contributing to training, equipment, and overall preparation. As I navigate the challenges of balancing my shooting career with a carpentry apprenticeship, this year demands a significant financial commitment.
I am sincerely grateful for any support extended, as it will alleviate the financial pressures inherent in our sport, allowing me to focus wholeheartedly on the task at hand. Donations through the ASF are tax-deductible towards my campaign.
Thank you for supporting my journey.
