My name is James Young and I am honoured to be representing Australia at the Flag Football World Cup in Finland this August.

The World Cup is not just a chance to represent Australia on an international stage, it is a crucial step towards Australia qualifying for the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028.

This is an incredible opportunity. However, being a newer sport in Australia it operates off a participant based funding model. Donations would assist with flights, accommodation, training camps and tournament costs.

Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances around age restrictions, I am ineligible to participate in games. However, I have been asked to travel with the squad and participate in all training session for the 2024 World Cup. By supporting me as an individual athlete you would also be supporting Australia’s journey towards Olympic representation in flag football.
