For those new to my page here is my story:

At the young age of four I started playing Hockey in Canberra and fell in love and knew I wanted to play for Australia at the Olympics when I was older.

Since then, I have worked extremely hard at improving my skills and attended many tournaments and development clinics every year. The biggest being attending the NSW state Championship every year, I was just 8 when I attended my first U11 York cup and was voted player of the tournament by my team.

Even with all the postponements due to Covid-19 over the last few years I still managed to attend both the U13 and U15 Championships in an effort to expand and develop my skills on and off the field. In 2021 I was first selected for the U13 State Team to travel to Tasmania, though Covid caused this to be cancelled. I kept working on my skills and in 2022 I was selected for the U15 state squad, making me one step closer to by dream and goal. Along came 2023 and I was fortunate enough to not only make selection for the U15 team traveling to Darwin, I was also selected as captain of the ACT team. 2024 marked my last year of eligibility for U16's and we some new talent at the trials I was lucky to be selected and travelled to Hobart.

In 2024 I took a chance at trialing for the U18 squad also so I knew what I would have to do to meet selection in 2025 and after being place on the train on squad. I knew I had a chance, so with continuing to work hard and use the feedback given I am very proud to say I made the U18 in 2025 and i will be travelling to Perth in July.

I decided to fundraise to assist in covering the costs to reach my goal. My parents have given a lot in taking me to all of the championships and trainings over the years so as it is my dream and I still have many years before I will be old enough to compete at the Olympics, fundraising seemed a great way to help me on my way, by getting support and encouragement from individuals and business Australia wide.
