As a regional cricketer (wicket keeper) I have for the past 3 years had the opportunity to travel to play cricket in Brisbane as part of Ian Healy's Northern Kings franchise. This has exposed me to a different approach and level of cricket that has inspired me to develop and chase opportunities to play club cricket in Brisbane travelling down from Townsville North Queensland. This fundraising program will allow me to travel down to play club cricket in Brisbane during the cricket season and also while there gain access to advanced wicket keeping and batting coaches to advance my game.
I would fly down on my own and stay with friends in Brisbane that will maximise the use of funds for cricketing purposes.
