Josh was 5 years old when he first donned a softball glove. Playing for Tigers Softball Club since that very first day, he has committed himself to learning from others and being a team player. His consistently high ethics in playing fair and outstanding dedication to both his club and his fellow team members have been traits that have caught the eye of selectors allowing Josh to represent his club, the City of Ipswich, his home state of Queensland and now his country on the international stage. Josh has also been selected to wear the maroon uniform and represent Queensland since he was 12 years old. Josh dedicates a minimum of four nights a week travelling across Brisbane to train with other elite athletes to ensure he remains at his peak to do his country proud. After many years of striving to be the best at his chosen sport, Josh represented Queensland at both the Open Men's National Competition in Canberra and then the National Titles in Melbourne in April where he learned of his selection to represent Australia to take on the world in Argentina from 22 - 30 October.
