My name is Joshua Harris, I am 14 years old and I absolutely love sport! I am proud to say that I have been selected to represent Australia at the 2023 Asian Volleyball Championship (AVC) 1st Mens U16 Volleyball Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 19 July to 1 August.

I am so excited to be representing Australia for the first time and have big dreams of playing volleyball at the Olympics in Brisbane 2032!

I have been playing Volleyball for two years. I started playing at Rossmoyne Senior High School and last year worked hard to be selected to represent Western Australia at the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships in Bendigo. The tournament was next level, and I loved the competitiveness as well as travelling and playing with my teammates. We also came home with a bronze medal!

I will now play for Australia at the AVC Volleyball Championship, and need to fundraise to help with selection camp costs and airfares, travel to Uzbekistan, accomodation, tournament fees and uniforms.

I live in Western Australia, and travel costs of attending camps and competitions really adds up. My parents support me and my two younger brothers and tell us to follow our dreams. Please help me to play in my first International tournament and get to Uzbekistan to play volleyball for Australia!
