The Kangaroo Island Basketball Association is seeking funds to assist with the increasing cost to take junior basketball teams to mainland competitions. Currently we have just been competing in the SA Country Champs but would really love to give our kids the opportunity to compete at more competitions throughout the year.

Basketball is hugely growing on Kangaroo Island and the talent we are seeing in our younger players is increasing each year.

We would love to give our junior players every opportunity to improve their skills and compete at the highest level.

Funds will be used to improve the kids preparation before the competitions, for example, more trainings, better equipment, skill development sessions.

There is also the added cost of travel and accommodation to get to these competitions, the registration fees and the cost to get our volunteers (coaches, team managers, umpires) off the island.
