We're thrilled to introduce you to Kara Cassidy, a dedicated softball player who's about to embark on an incredible journey representing in the NSW U16s Girls Softball team at Australian Nationals in 2024 in VIC!

Kara's Softball Journey: Started playing at the age of 7. Joined her first rep team at the tender age of 9. Became part of the U14’s NSW Metro team in 2022. Achieved the milestone in 2023 of becoming a 'Blueblood' in her first NSW team for NSW U16’s.

As she steps into Year 11 in 2024 at The Hills Sports High School, Kara continues to bring her passion for softball to the field, continuing to improve her skills and she enjoys her role in her school's softball team.

Softball is Kara's love and life. She works incredibly hard, pouring her heart into the game she adores. However, softball, unfortunately, doesn't receive widespread government support, and parents of athletes like Kara often find themselves shouldering the financial burden.

Despite the challenges, Kara and her family are determined to see her dreams flourish. She's not just an athlete; she's a student, a teammate, and a young individual with immense potential.

Softball might not be widely government-supported, but we believe in the strength of community. Kara and her family are currently financially supporting her journey, and any additional support from our community will make a significant difference.
