Katherine has shown great promise in the sport of Underwater Hockey. She is only 14 and has competed at National Championships at the Gold Coast in 2022. She has been asked to compete in the Queensland Titles in Cairns in October 2022, and will be travelling to Bunbury WA in January 2023. Over the next 12 months she will also be making many interstate trips to train and trial for the Australian team that will be heading to Turkey in 2024. I would love to give her as many opportunities as possible to develop her skills and reach her full potential, but as a single mum of 3 (2 with special needs) and a teacher, the money does not stretch as far as it needs.
