I am supporting the Australian Paraclimbing and Open Climbing Teams at the IFSC 2023 World Championships in Switzerland as the Team Physiotherapist.

This is an entirely voluntary position that will see me work with 17 Australian climbers on the ground, both immediately before and during what will be many athletes' first ever World Championships. It is so important that they have every opportunity to climb at their best alongside the world's top climbers - and particularly with the Paris 2024 Olympics just around the corner for our Open Team, the level of competition has never been higher. 

Competitive climbing is relatively young in Australia, and while there are many people dedicated to growing this aspect of our sport, resources are still extremely limited. Travel and living costs in Switzerland are prohibitive as a volunteer. Your tax-deductible donation will help me to provide much needed physiotherapy services to both teams during the 5 events over 10 days of competition.
