My name is Kelly Ffrost. I am a T10 Paraplegic from a spinal cord injury in 2017. I am a married mother of 4 kids. My husband and kids help me alot at home. I have been riding horses since I was 3 years old. I now compete in paraequestrian as a dressage rider. I have a massive goal of reaching the

Paralympics in PARIS 2024 as Part of the Australian Team!

After lots of hard work since 2018 getting back in the saddle I have achieved quite a lot.

EA grade 3 para dressage Champion 2021

FEI Grade 3 Para dressage Champion 2023

And have now been named for the second year on the Equestrian Australia ParaEquestrian High Performance Generation Next Squad 2022-2023.

In amongst all of this I also fractured my femur in a riding accident september 2022 it required surgery and 6 months rehabilitation but I haven't let that hold me back! Im Back in the saddle ready to push on!

I couldn't have done this with out the generous support of owners of horses and their kind support in lending their horses to me to ride and compete. The help from my family and Coach Julia Battams and also my Friends at Equine Pathways Australia.

I am currently working with a lovely fella (pictured) Karabil Park Janz we have achieved so much in just a short period of time. Our biggest highlight so far is being on the Australian team at our first event together and achieving our MER(minimum eligibility requirement) for team selection at our first event. After only 6 rides together. I was very impressed in him! I Am also working with a lovely mare Revelwood Obsession she is going great also.

I am fundraising to help me achieve so much more!

We have selection events coming up in the next year that cost quite a bit to achieve

$300+ accomodation Per event

$300 travel x 2 horses Per event

$450 support for the event Each event

We have nationals in October here in Victoria at the beautiful Boneo Park

As well as

Summer dressage Championships in January.

And

The April CPEDi at Boneo Park

All of these events are great events and without support it will be very hard for me to attend. I appreciate any support I can get! To hopefully do Australia Proud at our Next Paralympic games in the beautiful Paris 2024!
