About the project

Coming from the remote Outback of Western Australia I have been given the nick name "The Cool Runnings Kid" - not having experienced snow until my first World cup race in November 2021.

I was fortunate enough to qualify and compete in the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games in my first Season as a Bobsleigh brakewoman.

Bobsleigh is extremely expensive not only for the sport itself but for Australians Particularly, the minimum requirement is 5 months overseas: in this time we self fund all our travel, flights, food, accommodation, equipment and all associated costs.

I believe I have ability and scope to be one of the worlds best brakewomen. Through the 2021/22 season we achieved two top 10 finishes (7th & 8th) - the best ever by an Australian Team on World Cup.

Regrettably I do not have the financial ability to continue for the next four years to the Cortina 2026 Olympics in Italy without significant financial support for myself and my team.

Any support you can give would be so warmly appreciated
