Kiera plays hockey for the North East Hockey club, she has been a member of the club since she was approx. 6 yrs. old, she currently plays for Under 13’s girls and Metro 4 Women’s senior team.

Last year Kiera attended trials for selection in the 2021 U13’s State team, and was successful in her bid, unfortunately due to Covid the Australian Championships was cancelled and then Postponed, she didn’t get the opportunity to represent her State and the sport she loves.

Kiera has again, recently been attending several trial sessions for selection into the 2022 South Australia State Under 13’s Girls Hockey team.

It is with great news, that Kiera has been successful in her campaign as an Outstanding player and has been selected in the team to represent the State of South Australia in the Under 13’s Girls Hockey team.

Kiera will be travelling to the Tasmanian Hockey Centre, Hobart Tasmania for the Australian Under 13’s Hockey Championships held on the 28^th September – 4^th October 2022.

This is a great achievement for Kiera who has everyday struggles due to her Learning disabilities associated with being diagnosed as Autistic and has ADHD. Hockey is the outlet for her to shine in her own light and you don’t see these everyday challenges she faces whilst on the field.

I have created this project in hope that we may be able to raise enough funds to assist with the high expenses associated with Travel, accommodation, and Uniform for Kiera to attend the tournament.
