We’re reaching out to our amazing community to rally behind our para-athletes as they prepare for both the 2024 National Championships in Brisbane and the 1st World Para Taekwondo Poomsae Championships and Bahrain 2024 Para Taekwondo Open.

Their journeys have been nothing short of inspiring. Despite the many challenges they face, our para-athletes have shown incredible strength, perseverance, and a deep passion for Taekwondo. For them, competing on both national and global stages is not just an achievement—it’s a dream come true.

Our para-taekwondo team consists of:

• Damon Vasterink (29, Black Belt) – Australia’s representative at the 2023 Para World Championships
• Dominic Barlow (26, Black Belt)
• Mohamad Al Zuraijawi (18, Red Belt)
• Brodie Fitzgerald (15, Blue Belt)
• Jazabelle Murraylee (15, Blue Belt)

At the recent Victorian State Championships, this incredible team brought home 4 golds and 1 silver—a true testament to their unwavering dedication and hard work. Now, as they step onto the national and international stages, we want to ensure that financial barriers don’t hold them back from seizing these amazing opportunities.

We also have our eyes set on the 2028 Paralympics in L.A., where some of our athletes hope to represent Australia in the global arena.
