About

Lancelin Golf Club Members are working to make Lancelin Golf Course GREEN. We are an 18 hole picturesque links ocean side course 140kms north of Perth. We do not find watching grass grow boring we are having a ball. We are a small regional golf club and with our junior MYGOLF and ladies SWINGFIT programmes we are attracting younger members. Lancelin Golf Club members volunteer about 200 hours each week to maintain the course. The dream for a GREEN golf course started in 2008 when a feasibility study was undertaken that showed a staged programme for our irrigation was possible. In 2012 holes 10-18 were irrigated, in 2015 the remodelling of our tee boxes and green surrounds commenced and late last year we laid our first grass green. Following the success of this green in July 2016 we laid with the help of 80 local volunteers another 8 grass greens. Moving forward we hope to irrigate holes 1-9. This development has been done with little money and lots of member and community help. Maintenance and upgrades of our machinery and irrigation are essential for this dream. We hope you can help us make everyone GREEN with envy as we continue to improve our course.
