The current fundraising priority for Launceston Grammar Rowing is the replacement of two ageing boats for our respective Open Boys and Girls crews with two Filippi Aluminium Wing Coxed Eights. These boats will be more ergonomic, and a vast improvement on the current boats. The replacement of these boats will not only improve the experience of our rowers, but will ensure our Open crews are able to have the best opportunity for success when training and racing.

The commitment to purchasing these boats, with an expected cost of $160 000, will be funded through this project, as well as a commitment from the School. 

The School have been most fortunate to have an anonymous donor who has pledged to donate $10 000 when we reach $40 000. Then, another $20 000 when we meet $80 000. This is an exciting time for rowing at Launceston Grammar and we look forward to the community coming together to make this project a success.
