I am from Perth, Western Australia where I live with my mother Mercedes and my sister Erin. When in Perth I train under my amazing coaches Jon Bonny and Jane Ashworth. I fell in love with ice skating at the age of six and I have never looked back since. I have been Figure Skating for thirteen years. I am currently in the Junior Ladies Division, and six times Western Australian State Champion. I represented Australia in the Challenge Cup 2018 in the Netherlands. I am currently a first year student studying a Bachelor of Science: Exercise, Sports and Rehabilitation Science at Curtin University. My focus right now is to improve my technical level of skating especially, in the area of jumps. I would like to achieve my triple jumps and become a more competitive skater technically. I currently have all of my jumps up to double axel.

I have had the privilege of participating in figure skating seminars in Australia with Brian Orser, Jeremy Abbott, Yuka Sato, Manon Perron, Kristy Krall, Igor Tchiniaev, Ravi Walia, Meagan Duhamel, Eric Radford and Victoria Stratton. In April 2018, I spent three weeks in Colorado, USA, training under Tom Zakrajsek, Janet Champion, Kristy Krall, Ryan Jahnke, Erik Schulz. I also spent a week at the Toyota Sports Centre in Los Angeles, USA under Frank Carroll.

The last few years have been challenging due to illness and injury, and in 2016 my Dad was diagnosed with a grade four glioblastoma brain tumour and after an extremely difficult two and a half years he passed away recently on June 20th, 2018. Due to my schooling commitments and my fathers illness it has been difficult to travel to train, due to the massive financial commitment to my fathers medical fees. However through all of this my parents have supported me to reach my goals and now with the support of my family I am looking to a new structured future for my skating.

Last year I had the incredible opportunity of living and training in Canada for three months due to being a recipient of the 2018 Darcy Slater Scholarship. I spent one month at the Mariposa International Training Centre under Janice Morgan, Doug Leigh, Ryan Arnold, Paul Matheson and Michael Hopfes. I then spent two months training at the Ice Palace Figure Skating Club under Ravi Walia, Sylvie Wandzura, Shirley Solkowski and Ben Ferreira. Both centres were absolutely incredible and I felt such an improvement in my skating and confidence in the little time I spent over there. The programs included unlimited ice time, a daily led off ice program and on ice harness. Training alongside other amazing athletes was a motivating and an amazingly positive learning environment. I would love to have the opportunity to train in Canada again.

I am committed to improving in my sport and with the support for travel, it will bring more opportunities and I will be able to get the best out of training facilities to achieve my goals. I want to reach the highest level as an athlete, to represent my home state Western Australia and proudly represent my country Australia.

I would be most grateful for you to help me on my journey to achieve my Figure Skating Goals.
