On the 29^th of January, I will be leaving for Europe for a long, yet an essential trip to represent Australia in multiple European Judo competitions to kick start my Olympic qualifying dreams, as well as attending training camps where I am able to develop further as an athlete.

I am first going to attend an international training camp at the French National Performance center, INSEP, where I will have the ability to train with high-level athletes and have world-class training partners. I am looking forward to starting my trip with this camp, as it will allow me to get in the groove of the time zone difference before my run of competitions.

Following my stay at the French National Training Centre, I will attend four European Judo tournaments in Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, and Latvia. Success at these competitions will boost my world ranking points and will start my journey to hopefully qualify for Paris 2024 Olympic games.

Between competitions, I will return to France for further training, and will also travel to Austria to spend 2 weeks with their national team, and train alongside their Olympic medallists.  

The funding provided by Combat Australia covers 50% of my flights to and from Europe and accommodation, however, does not provide funding for living and travel between European countries. Donating will hopefully cover the additional costs of this trip, but more importantly, will elevate the extra financial pressure and allow me to focus purely on representing our country and bringing home some medals.
