Since age 10, basketball has been Lilli’s unwavering passion, a journey she has embraced with the dream of securing a U.S. college scholarship by 2026.

The path has been marked with significant sacrifices, including a pivotal move to Adelaide in 2022 by Lilli, her Dad, and Step Mum, leaving behind the familiar to embrace a life dedicated to basketball and academic excellence. This move was a strategic step to mitigate the strenuous 6-hour return trips and to allow Lilli to delve deeper into her basketball journey.

Lilli’s commitment to the sport is profound, involving extensive travels to Victor Harbour for games with the Saints Basketball Club and representing Great Southern Slammers at the Country representative level. She’s been selected to play for South Adelaide basketball in U18 girls and to represent South Australia at the Country Cup in Albury Wodonga in January.

Amidst the rigorous schedule and transitions, Lilli’s academic prowess has shone brightly. She has been a straight-A student in 2022 and continues to surpass expectations in 2023, even taking on Year 11 English while being in Year 10, showcasing her intellectual zeal and commitment to her studies.
