Meet Lily Dennis, a 16-year-old aspiring football (soccer) player with dreams of representing Australia.

Lily has earned the opportunity to compete in the 2024 National Futsal Championships in QLD in January 2024, a significant step in her football journey. Excited to represent Victoria in the U17s category, Lily is passionate about women's football and futsal, aiming to promote gender equality in a traditionally male-dominated field.

Having a strong track record, Lily has won multiple awards, including best and fairest and MVP at Sunbury Futsal every year from 2019 to 2022 in U12 to U17s, and she was selected in the Victorian Futsal Representative squad U15s this year.

Lily's achievements extend to captaining and winning the SAACCSS championship with her Salesian College school futsal team and playing soccer for Geelong Galaxy National Premier League Women's teams. As an up-and-coming player, she has been selected to play in the National Premier League U20s team for Football Victoria's Essendon Royals in 2024, showcasing her commitment and talent in the sport.

In January 2023 Lily represented Brighton Grammar School U17s at the Gold Coast International futsal tournament. She also won the Australian Futsal Association championship individual medal for U17s in Sydney this year in January.

Money raised will help her continue to prepare for future competitions to give her every opportunity to succeed and achieve at the highest level. She would appreciate donations to help get to the National Futsal Championships in January on the Gold Coast. This is one step in her dream. Unfortunately even though she is representing her state, it costs thousands for competition fees, uniforms, coaching, travel and accommodation, etc.
