The purpose of the project is to provide a medium for parents, volunteers, and other stakeholders the opportunity to contribute funds to our rowing program while remaining anonymous to school staff and receive a tax deduction. We have many stakeholders interested in supporting the program, in particular through providing equipment that is state of the art, safe, and up to date. Through funds donated via the ASF the school is able to use donations to support a sport that is unique to a lot of our students, in particular boarder students. Rowing equipment is an expensive investment, but an investment that many of our stakeholders find worthwhile because of the many positive experiences they have had through rowing at Loreto Normanhurst.
