Lucas Fackerell is an 8 time Australian age swimming champion. All funds raised will assist with training and coaching fees, Gym fees, physiotherapy costs and equipment, as Lucas prepares to represent Australia at the World Open Water Championships and Junior Pan Pacific Championships in 2024. For Lucas swimming is his passion, he has dedicated himself to the sport and prides himself on his commitment to the hard work it takes to be a champion.

Lucas has been competing Nationally since 2022, when he won his first Australian title in the 400m freestyle. Since then he has gone from strength to strength and in 2024 he has been the dominant distance freestyle swimmer in his age group. Showing great range Lucas has won national titles at 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 7.5km.

These performances earned Lucas his first Australian cap at the Oceania Games where he won 5 gold medals. Next up Lucas will represent his country at the World Open Water Championships in Italy (September)and the Junior Pan Pacific championships in Canberra (August).
