Hi, my name is Maddison Camillo, I recently earned selection as a member of National Team to represent Australia at the Taekwondo Junior World Championships. This event will take place from 2nd-7th August 2022 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I am incredibly excited and honoured to be representing my country, and am currently training extremely hard at both my home club Mozhdeh Martial Arts and with the Victorian Performance Pathway Program. These World Championships are an amazing opportunity to meet and compete against opponents from all over the world, and also to gain valuable experience to help me achieve my ultimate goal of making the Olympic Games.

I am currently fundraising to help cover some of the costs associated with this trip. Unfortunately we have been advised there is no funding available for this event and as such are reaching out to our village and community. Costs are estimated to $6500 for competitors and another $3000 for a parent/guardian who will travel with us. Any funds raised will go directly towards my airfare, uniform, entry fee and accomodation.
