The Maleny Golf Club will purchase and install two EcoFlo toilets which are self-contained, environmentally-friendly, cost-effective and easy to maintain. One toilet will each be strategically located on the two 9-hole circuits.

EcoFlo toilets, manufactured in Brisbane, are proven technology and endorsed by state and local governments. We will purchase the fully inclusive kits and construct the concrete pads and complete installation within four weeks of receiving the two packs. 

The Maleny Golf Course was built by members for members and visitors with grant monies ($1m from Council, $200,000 from QLD Gov, $200,000 from Sport Australia and c. $300,000 donations from members and friends). Although the 18 holes were only opened in February 2020, we are rapidly being recognised as a high quality challenging 'destination' golf course in SE QLD. Visitor income represents about 60% of revenue. Feedback from members and visitors, especially ladies, has demonstrated the urgent need for these facilities; not just for comfort but also for valid health reasons. For example, some ladies are not drinking water while they play the course because of lack of toilets. We need to address this deficiency.
