Visit websiteThe Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club is very proud of it’s history and status in the Peel region. Our members have provided many volunteer hours over many years and we strongly promote the ethos of volunteerism and community spirit.
Mandurah Surf Lifesaving Club (MHSLSC) originally named the Peel Surf Life Saving Club commenced operations 1996 at Halls Head as a junior development club. In 1999 the expanding club relocated to San Remo to accommodate a maturing development and growing membership.
MHSLSC progressed from a probationary club to an affiliated club of Surf Lifesaving WA in April 2005.
The city of Mandurah, after an exhaustive survey of beach locations within the city precincts identified and approved San Remo as the site for a Surf Life Saving Club building in July 2005. In 2006 a community working group was formed and a Master Plan developed. The Master plan included Concept building plans.
In 2008 MHSLSC secured funding from Lotterywest and the Department of Sport and Recreation for a Clubhouse. Further funding was later secured from the Royalties for Regions scheme and the City of Mandurah.
With funding secured for a clubhouse, construction at Eros Reserve began in 2012 and the facility became operational in April 2013.
The primary focus of the club is to provide a professional volunteer lifesaving services to the public across the greater Peel region and working to maintain a safer beach environment for the community.
