To the reader if you intend to donate to the Maroochydore Swans Foundation your funds will be used...

Firstly to:

Provide a shade structure to cover our existing concrete seating and the approaches to the club façade and the Access ramp with viewing platforms down to our main field. This shade structure will help the club hold more all-weather coaching days for children and adults with disabilities. These coaching days bring together the local special schools that join with local businesses such as IGA, Rebel Sport and McDonald’s Sunshine coast and our Council members, to be part of the Coach Tim Fish for Life program. This type of coaching day has the business leaders working one on one with the children from the special schools. One of the aims of these days without a doubt aides in breaking down the barriers between business and those with disabilities. Several people have found employment and work experience with these groups from the coaching days. Maroochydore Football Club also has its own Skills Academy for children and others with a disability, the undercover area will provide a wet weather alternate to cancelling when the grass is wet and slippery which often happens. This will cost $80k

A company called Wayfarers will be engaged to complete a comprehensive evaluation of the club facilities. This evaluation will provide Architectural drawings and costings of such things as an access ramp to our main field with viewing stands for people with disabilities, an access ramp into the front of the Club entrance. Upgrades to our referees and players change rooms to make them fully accessible, our current disability accessible toilets, and other toilets to upgrade then to ambient standards. These upgrades will change and hugely improve access to our day to day user and will allow MFC to hold international standard events such as Paralympic and Special Olympics events, Commonwealth Games e.c.t. This will cost $15k.

We will build the Access ramps and upgrade all of our Clubs facility's to enable greater access to toilets change rooms and club house area. This will be a huge boost to the community.

Please support the programs with a fully tax deductible donation today!
