Hi there!

My name is Maya Stasiuk and I am a 15 year old competitive Sport Climber from Victoria, Australia. I have been climbing since I was 4 years old and competing since I was 6 years old.

In November 2022, I became the youngest Australian Open Sport Climbing Champion after I won the Australian Open Female National Championships in boulder and combined (lead/boulder). Because of this, I have been selected to compete for Australia in the international IFSC World Cups during 2023 - against the worlds best.

These are the events I am competing in, for Australia, during 2023:

  • *World Cup: Boulder Hachioji, Japan (21st - 23rd April 2023)
  • *World Cup: Boulder Seoul, Korea (28th - 30th April 2023)
  • *World Cup: Boulder Brixen, Italy (9th - 11th June 2023)
  • *World Cup: Boulder and Lead Innsbruck, Austria (14th - 18th June 2023)

I am asking for your support because I am self funded and there is very little financial support available to Sport Climbers in Australia. Funds are needed to help cover the significant costs for travel, training, and accomodation. The approximate costs to be incurred for attending and competing in the World Cups listed above is $30,000.

Any help or support would be much appreciated.
