About

McLeod Country Golf Club is a championship 18 hole golf course and function venue, established in 1968 at Mount Ommaney in Brisbane. It offers a golfing experience for the whole family with competitions held seven days a week. The Club has a significant impact in the community providing a venue for many local organisations such as Rotary, Probis and the Chamber of Commerce. McLeod is a magnificent story of guts and determination by a group of women with the foresight and will to establish a golf club where women from all walks of life are provided with the opportunity to play golf, together with their male counterparts. This unique management structure remains today with McLeod one of very few golf clubs across the world administered by an all female Board. The Club has a membership of over 1000 and facilitates about 50000 rounds of golf per year for both competition and social players. As a championship course the club provides a venue for Golf Queensland championship events and a variety of corporate days for business and charities. Undoubtedly McLeod's charter and values are what drive the Club's vision and is key to the future growth and development of its programs.
