Our elite crew of athletes at the Melbourne Flames Dragon Boat Club has qualified to compete on the global stage at the upcoming 14th IDBF Club Crew World Dragon Boat Championships (“CCWC”) in Ravenna, Italy this September. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our athletes, coaches, and supporters.

After a gap of 6 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we can finally return to the CCWC and our World Champions are eager to showcase their prowess to the world once more. The upcoming event presents an opportunity to, not only continue their legacy of success, but to inspire a new generation of paddlers and sports enthusiasts.

Participation in such a prestigious event comes with significant financial commitments for each athlete. To ensure our athletes can focus on their training and preparation, we are seeking your support to help offset the financial costs of representing our Australian Club on the international stage.

Donation of any amount, large or small, will make a significant impact on our fundraising efforts. Your contribution will cover expenses such as regatta transfers, registration and competition fees for our athletes and all amounts are tax deductible.
