MJ has been actively representing Queensland at National diving competitions and is working towards representing Australia at International diving championships in order to qualify for the Brisbane Olympics 2032.

MJ got into diving after seeing the divers on the boards during a swimming competition and decided that she'd like to give the sport a go. Unlike many other elite divers, MJ does not come to diving from a gymnastics or tumbling background and is working incredibly hard to bridge this gap and be recognized as an elite diver in her own right. MJ has now entered the Elite Junior C stream, diving from both 1 & 3m springboard and 3, 5, and 7.5m platform (slowly working her way up the tower to 10 and 12.5m)

To achieve this, MJ trains 6 days a week - which can include both morning and afternoon sessions, whilst still excelling at her regular schooling. In addition, MJ does not live near her training facility and on some days travel one way can take her up to one and half hours! However, her commitment to diving continues to propel her forward.

Raised funds will be used for training, travel, accommodation, coach fees, uniform, competition entry fees and other associated costs that are incurred with representing Queensland at the Junior Elite Nationals in 2024.
