Mickey started skating at 4 and soon turned to Ice Hockey. Each year since then his love for the game has grown.

During COVID many tournaments were cancelled however Mickey continued to train hard. Since restrictions have eased, we've seen Mickey blossom as a player. Included Most Valued Player for his team when playing in France on a high level North American team as the Warrior World Cup. Then later in the year at the U13s, National tournament called Ginsberg. Mickey Captained South Australia to Silver and was awarded the best defender of the Australian tournament. He also was the 2nd highest scorer.

Since than Mickey has completed in 2 other club tournaments. One in Coffs Harbour were his team received gold and another in Newcastle where his team also received gold. Also late in 2022 Mickey attended camps in Melbourne and Adelaide.

Over the next six months Mickey will attend 4-5 camps, including Melbourne, National Camp, Newcastle and Adelaide. He will also be competing in the Ice Dragons Classic in Singapore, Lync Cup in Sydney and possibly the National U15s tournament, De Fris.

As most teenage children, Mickey is growing quickly. He has outgrown all, but his helmet. Meaning he will need to replace his costly skates, shorts, shoulder and elbow pads as well as his gloves.
