Mid West Academy of Sport Inc

Mid West Academy of Sport Development Fund

The Mid West Sports Academy(MWAS) provides services and development opportunities for athletes, coaches and officials from across the Mid West region of Western Australia.

MWAS is working to provide an exceptional home training environment for talented Mid West athletes. By providing services in the Mid West region, athletes can travel to Perth significantly less and we can also retain families. By developing coaches and officials, we are improving the capacity of regional communities and providing a high quality pathway for regional athletes, many of whom reside in remote locations. Download a social return on investment analysis.

MWAS will use 100% of the funds raised to provide services such as sports science and sports psychology to athletes and to provide development opportunities for coaches and officials. Through our Coaching Effectiveness Program, more than 500 athletes benefit by having access to a higher standard of coaching
