Jack has already achieved an incredible feat, completing 8,500 kilometers during the 100x100 Challenge. But true to his word and unwavering spirit, he’s pushing even further to reach 10,000 kilometers and raise critical funds for Miles4Smiles.
This time, Jack is taking on a monumental challenge: breaking the Guinness World Record for the fastest 1,000 miles (male), currently held by Yiannis Kouros. Over 10 gruelling days, Jack will run 157 kilometers each day, with an additional 40 kilometers to conquer during the final 10 hours to set the record.
The journey begins December 19th at 5:00 AM and ends on December 30th. Jack will circle the Tan Track in Melbourne—a 3.827 km loop—completing 41 loops a day. His start and finish point: the iconic Pillars of Wisdom.
This is more than a test of endurance; it’s a testament to Jack’s dedication to improving mental health outcomes for Australians who are struggling. Every step he takes is a step toward making a difference.
Join Jack on his journey by cheering him on, sharing his story, or contributing to his fundraising goal. Together, we can make a real impact on the mental health of Australians.
Our aim is to raise $430,000 to reflect the almost 43% of Australian’s struggling.
The funds raised will be used by Miles4Smiles Mental Health Organisation to run targeted connection and early intervention programs to help as many people as possible to enjoy positive physical and mental health. This may include Community Events, Physical Challenges (including Miles4Smiles 100 X 100) , Catch Ups, Physical and Mental Wellbeing Therapy, Meaningful Presentations and Workshops to Schools, Sporting Clubs and Community Groups.
This challenge will be powered by No Timid Souls.
