I am a Queensland based rowing athlete who has been selected to travel to Bulgaria and compete for Australia in the u23 world championships starting on the 27th of July. Most of the cost of the trip is subsidised by rowing organisations and the expectation is that the athletes will fund-raise the remainder. This leaves me in a position where I need to raise $7950.

I am thrilled and honoured at the opportunity to represent my country at the u23 world championships. I am looking for support on my road to Bulgaria in the men's coxless pair.

I am in the Second year of my Health and Physical Education degree and currently work casual shifts at the Calile Hotel. With my full-time training load and living out of home, I find it hard to work enough to raise sufficient funds to cover the whole seat fee.

I am looking forward to getting closer to my long-term goal of competing at the Olympic games by achieving success on the world stage by competing for Australia at the under-23 world rowing championships held in Bulgaria this year. I am rowing in the pair with fellow club member and Queenslander Jarrod Lord based out of Brisbane. Enjoying working with Jarrod and Coach Scott Row and continuing pushing ourselves to achieve our best outcome.
