Mitchell has been a goalkeeper for Ballarat futsal club since he was 5. Mitchell has been allowed many amazing opportunities from state and regional titles to the international cup in the Gold Coast back in January. He has also toured in the past with Victoria futsal to Sydney to represent the state and currently also plays outdoor in Geelong for Geelong soccer club.

Being selected to tour with Ballarat Futsal Club (Vic Country Warriors Australia) to Orlando Florida USA is such a honour and privilege and also a testament of how much hard work he has put in and the amazing coaching and encouragement he has received.

To Mitchell the opportunity to travel to the world championships will be a reward for his hard work over the years. It will allow him to get further intensive coaching from his amazing club and coaches. Push himself against some of the best from around the globe to continue to grow and develop his skills. Make some lifelong friends and hopefully try his best and have some fun. After all that's what it is all about.
