Help us to get the MLC girls training all year round, using their own rowing trailer 

MLC Rowing doesn't have its own rowing trailer, and borrowing a trailer from CCGS during March - June restricts our ability to train as often as we would like and need to.

MLC Rowing needs its own trailer so that our boats can be transported to the river earlier in the season and give our girls more time on the water. A longer season and more rowing sessions on the water will give MLC girls the chance to be the best that they can be and compete with the other IGSSA schools who can train year round.

MLC has had a strong and proud tradition in the sport of rowing, but the current rowing season for the girls is restricted due to limited access through sharing facilities. The MLC rowers are unable to put boats on the water earlier in the season as they currently share boats, share transport equipment and share a shed, meaning the girls have limited or no access until March of each season.

It's not a long enough season, and we need our girls on the water for longer. We would also like the girls to be able to take part in additional training, invitational regattas and the Nationals that will be held in Perth in March 2023. 

To allow greater access to the river using MLC owned boats, MLC Rowing Club is fundraising to purchase their own boat trailer. The MLC Rowing Committee want your help to raise $50,000 to purchase, licence and insure the trailer. We need to place the order for the rowing trailer before December 2022, to make sure we have it in time for the Nationals in March 2023.
