About

The Mornington Peninsula Junior Football league is a stand alone football league associated with AFL Victorian Country. The League was formed in 1970 and players from the age of 7 through to 17 both boys and girl participate in matches through out the year. The League has commenced development squads for ages 14, 15, 16 and 17's. In all around 4000 particpants.

The Ainsworth Pike Alexander Foundation has been established to support:

  • Continued development of facilities for elite training of individuals.  This will include the purchase and maintenance of:
    • A fully intergrated Coaching area with Warmup/Warmdown area
    • HD Camera vision for training and match development and playback electronic scoreboard
    • Audio/visual training facilities
    • GPS data recording
  • To provide financial assistance our elite youth players both male and female to compete in:
    • interleague carnivals
    • regional carnivals
    • interstate carnivals
    • school carnivals
    • access to equipment
  • To provide funding for “Footyability” Program to enable disabled individuals to participate in football as a recreation and a therapy.
  • Junior Umpire Development Program

Our aim is to achieve greater participation in both the sporting and club environments on the Mornington Peninsula, and see a greater number of junior players advance to both senior and TSAC levels.
