I am very excited to represent Australia in 2024 Women's Box Lacrosse World Championship in Utica, New York.
This will be the first-year women are competing in the Box Lacrosse World Championship, and it is a great honour to be part of making history. It is an even greater honour to do so wearing the green and gold.
In preparation for the tournament, the team has been attending state-based training sessions and team camps. I have also played in the She-Box Tournament in April 2024 which was held in Prague, which although great for my preparation, adds to the costs of representing Australia. The costs associated with sending an athlete to the World Championships is over $13,000.
While I have been working hard on the field, the honour of representing Australia is not without its financial burdens. As members of my community, I am seeking your assistance to support me financially in this great adventure. Any donation large or small will be gratefully received, and donations over $2 are tax deductible.
