Every year, the National Artistic Rollerskating Championships are held in a different city in Australia. This year, they are being held in Bunbury, Western Australia. Our club, National Capital Rollerskating Club, will luckily have skaters selected to skate and represent NSW at these championships. As ACT only has the one artistic Rollerskating club, we cannot provide a state competition, therefore we join Skate NSW in their leagues and state championships to allow passionate skaters to fulfill their dreams of competing in the sport they train and love. One of our skaters is the 2022 Open Inline Freeskating Champion. Her progression in the sport sees her now competing for the Senior Inline Freeskating Championship title. Another one of our skaters will be defending her 2022 title of Masters Ladies Figures Champion. All our competitions require us to travel. Fundraising for our participants will help keep the stress of registration, travel and accommodation at bay, so they can focus on perfecting their skating skills to achieve the highest possible accolades in the sport they love so much.
