Experience around Australia shows that having the whole club train together is crucial to future development. By adding two extra roll out nets, both the men's and women's teams will be able to train together on Thursday nights. The new pitch on KFC Oval is regarded again as among the best in the Geelong Cricket Association and the roll out nets will allow players to train on the surface on which they will be playing. After winning the men's club championship last summer, and having both teams featuring in women's finals, the club is determined to take every necessary step to turn that success into future premierships. To do that, we need a whole of club approach to funding these new facilities.
