About the project

The Jack O'Connor Scoreboard

On November 10, this year, the O'Connor family sadly lost their much loved son and brother, Jack and many across our community lost a great mate. Jack had played rugby for the Dolphins since under 6s and his passing under tragic circumstances has far reaching affect across our Club. Jack was a beautiful kind hearted young man who was cherished dearly and will be deeply missed.

Jack's parents, John and Annie wish to honour his memory with a permanent reminder of the happy memories made at Dolphin Oval. Our Club is committed to supporting the wishes of the O’Connor family by raising funds towards a much needed electronic scoreboard which will be named after Jack.

This initiative means Noosa Dolphins Rugby is able to replace the current old and broken scoreboard for a video link scoreboard taking the rugby experience on the main field to an exciting new level. With a state of the art LED scoreboard our Club will further benefit from the ability to enhance our profile and raise revenue through additional sponsorship opportunities.

Please make a tax deductible donation today and support the O’Connor family and Noosa Dolphins Rugby.
