Norwood International High School (NIHS) will be representing Australia at the 2023 Anzac Rowing competition in Malta. We are honoured to send a delegation of 13 students and three staff to this special event that will commemorate the significance of Malta’s invaluable support of the Anzacs during WWI. In April 2023 the NIHS Australian team will be participating in formal Anzac Day commemoration activities and competing in an international coastal rowing regatta with teams from New Zealand and Malta.

The excitement and privilege of being able to represent Australia is continuing to build amongst the delegation. This experience will challenge them to perform for their country and allow the development of a deep understanding and appreciation of our Anzac history. Although this important international experience will be rewarding, it is an expensive and logistically challenging exercise. Students, staff, and families are actively fundraising to subsidise student costs and to also provide a suitable uniform that proudly represents our country and school.
