Hi, my name is Digby, and I am a rower at Norwood International High school. I have only been rowing for two months. My school is doing an endurance challenge to raise funds for new boats. This endurance challenge is one of the largest fundraising events for Norwood each year. This year the fundraising event has two parts to it. The first part is a 4 hour ergo relay in which over 100 Norwood rowers take part in teams of 6-8. The aim is to row the furthest distance possible in 4 hours. This is a relay to test our teamwork, determination, and perseverance. The second part is for the senior rowers who will take part in the Norwood Long Row, this a 130km row, rowing from Swan Reach to Murray Bridge along the Mighty Murray.
