I am raising funds for the Norwood International High School Rowing Club through our Endurance Challenge. My name is Jackson Rogers and I have been a part of the rowing club as a rower since 2022. The Endurance Challenge is one of our club's largest fundraising methods each year and in 2023 it has two elements. The 4-hour ergo relay is a grueling test of determination, perseverance, and teamwork, where our 100+ rowers will take on the challenge in teams of 6-8. We must develop a plan to row the further possible distance in the 4 hours and grit our teeth through short high-intensity rotation and lightning-fast changes. The Senior Rowers will take the Endurance Challenge a step further through the Norwood Long Row, a 135km journey down the Murray River from Blanche town to Mannum.
