Oliver Moran's Journey
Oliver Moran's Journey

Your donation is supporting Oliver Moran
Hey there,
I'm Oliver Moran, a passionate BMX racer with a dream. As the current World Cup series winner in the U23 category, I'm looking for your support to help me take the next step in the elite class. I'm 22 years old, originally from Forster, Australia, and now based in Sydney. Growing up by the ocean, my days were filled with surfing, fishing, and diving, but nothing compared to the thrill of BMX racing.
Every day is an opportunity for me to train and better myself—whether it's track sessions, gym workouts, or sprint training—balanced with my studies in mechanical engineering at university. It's a rigorous routine that challenges both my body and mind, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Between training and studying, there's hardly any time for extra work, especially with the BMX World Cup series mostly held in Europe and America. The costs of travel, accommodation, and other essentials add up quickly, making each competition season financially demanding.
Despite the challenges, my hard work and dedication have paid off. In 2024, I proudly clinched the World Cup overall title in the U23 category and secured the Oceania champion title in the same division. BMX isn't just a sport to me; it's a lifelong dream that began when I first followed my older brother to the track.
Support will help fund my trips to qualify for the World Championships and, ultimately, the Olympics in the next cycle. My journey is a testament to perseverance and passion. Any support you can offer would not only help me pursue my dream but also represent Australia proudly on the global BMX stage.
Thank you for considering supporting me on this incredible journey.
Best regards,
Oli
