Hi everyone,

Recently, I was selected in the U18 South Australia Metro basketball team to compete at the Australian Junior Basketball Championships. This tournament will be in Brisbane in early April 2024.

This is the first time that I have been selected in the final team after missing selection previously in both years with the U16 squads. Last year was especially disappointing but since then I have made it my mission to work hard with some great coaches and then make sure I perform at a high level so I don’t experience that disappointment again.

Representing South Australia at the Australian Junior Basketball Championships is the next step in my basketball journey. I’m really looking forward to playing against the most talented girls in the country, even though I will be a year younger than most of the athletes.

As a team, we are hoping to bring home the gold medal as National Champions and any donation will help my family cover the large costs of travel and clothing during my time away from Adelaide.
