The Padthaway Netball Club was formed in 1966 and is affiliated with the Padthaway Football Club in the Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara Football and Netball League of South Australia. 

The club provides a vital role in our community encouraging children and adults to be active, along with providing important social networking for the rest of the community. We attract players from nearby towns including Naracoorte, Keith and Bordertown.

Our courts are currently positioned in a separate location from the Football oval, are in a bad state of disrepair and pose a safety risk to the public as people are continually crossing a main road to access changerooms, toilet facilities and both the football and netball grounds.  

Padthaway Netball Club is trying to raise $126,000 to construct two netball/ tennis courts at a new location to current facilities, within the grounds of the Padthaway Football Oval.  

The courts will be compliant with Netball Australia and Tennis Australian guidelines and this will involve the removal of trees currently situated at the site, filling and levelling. The courts will be constructed of asphalt with line marking for both Netball and tennis, along with goal posts and holes for tennis nets.

The two courts will have sufficient lighting, so they can be utilised at night for trainings along with social netball and tennis for the local community. All new power will need to be run from the nearby Football clubrooms. The perimeter of the courts will be entirely fenced with 3 metre high chain mesh. A new shed which will have lockable storage and shelter for spectators to run part of the width of both courts. Two shelter sheds which will be located next to each court for scorers, timers, coaches and players.
